I'm only passing it on...like hot potato!

I know I haven't posted anything lately, but I want to pass along Callie's most recent post (Fijense, I said "pass"):

Because I work with the Ministry of Education aka the Nicaraguan Government, I cannot express certain viewpoints in this blog. In the past, there have been PC programs that have been shut down because PCVs went too far to share their opinions in a public forum. I can, however, pass information on to my readers and allow them to be the judges.

This week I met with my new counterpart and he seems cool so far. He's my age and doesn't put up with crap from the kids. I also moved into a new room with a new host family! They are the sweetest old couple, in their late 80s, and already in 3 days I've heard the phrase "During the U.S. occupation..." aka so awesome to get to hear some great stories (from the 1930s and on)!!! This weekend I'll post the pictures from San Juan del Sur and Dayana's 15th Bday.

It seems to be a natural law that those who decide things are stupid narrow-minded mf'ers; none-the-less, however crazy we think they are, they happen to be THE mf'ers who make the rules and we have to live with it.
